What Is Heat For The Holidays
The holidays are a time for celebration, family gatherings, and the simple joys of those magical moments at home. Whether it’s the twinkling lights or the latest gadgets, the festive season has a way of bringing joy and warmth into our lives—especially when it’s paired with the cozy heat that makes holiday mornings so special. But for some in our community, staying warm isn’t a guarantee. It’s a looming concern. And that’s where Hager Fox Heating, Cooling, and Electrical steps in.
To ease that burden and make the season brighter for those in need, we’ve created the Heat For The Holidays initiative. It’s our way of giving back to our community, helping a deserving individual feel the warmth and comfort of the holidays by providing them with a new heating system – because everyone deserves to be cozy during the most wonderful time of the year.
Community Commitment: Integrity, Innovation, & Excellence
At Hager Fox, our dedication to the community isn’t just a mission—it’s our foundation and at the core of what we do. For years, we’ve built a culture of service, always striving for excellence while leading with integrity. Our goal is simple: to innovate in ways that allow us to better serve and uplift our neighbors.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce Heat For The Holidays, a program designed to bring warmth, both literally and figuratively, to those who need it most. By coming together as a community, we can make the holidays truly special for a deserving individual and their family. And we need your support to make a lasting impact.
Here’s How It Works:
From now until December 1st, we’re inviting you to nominate someone in your life—a neighbor, friend, or family member—who has consistently given back to the community but might now need a helping hand. Whether they’ve suddenly faced hard times or simply deserve a little extra warmth this season, we want to hear their story.
To submit a nomination, simply click the button below and tell us why this individual should receive the gift of warmth this holiday season. Please provide as much detail as you can.
From December 1st to the 7th, our committee will review each nomination and select one deserving community member. Both the nominator and the nominee will be contacted to share the exciting news.
Then, on December 13th, 2024, the selected individual will receive a brand-new Lennox furnace with same-day installation—free of charge, courtesy of Hager Fox Heating, Cooling, and Electrical.
This holiday season, help us spread the warmth. Let’s come together as a community to lift someone up and make their holiday season unforgettable. Thank you for your continued support in making Heat For The Holidays a true gift of comfort.
When Do Nominations Begin?
We will begin accepting nominations on November 1st.
When Do the Nominations Close?
Nominations close on December 1st.
How Many Recipients Will There Be?
Since the program is new, we will only reward one recipient with a new furnace this year.
Who Qualifies As A Good Candidate?
Each nomination recognizes a special individual who may be going through hardship, helps others in need or simply supports their community.
Many of our nominees simply don’t have the means to make their homes more comfortable on their own. That’s where nominations from community members like you come in.
Some examples nominees include teacher, firefighters and volunteers; families facing hard times; veterans; senior citizens living in older homes; and people impacted by natural disaster. In short, anyone who serves others is a good candidate for our Heat For The Holiday’s campaign
Are There Any Stipulation?
Yes. Here are the stipulations:
- The furnace must be a forced-air furnace, and existing ductwork must be in place. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace boilers or radiator systems at this time.
- Individuals cannot nominate themselves.
- The recipient must be a United States veteran or currently serving.
- The recipient must reside in Southeast Michigan.
- If the existing furnace is in working condition and less than 12 years old, we will be unable to install the new furnace, and the next runner-up will be selected.
- The recipient must own the home where the furnace will be installed.
